Learn, Share & Inspire

About the Aperture Photography Group

There  are lots of camera clubs in the local area, but we care less about the camera you  want to use, more about the great photographs you want to make.

We  see ourselves as a group of like-minded photographers, passionate about  capturing the precious moments of life through pictures, but, we are not a competitive bunch, preferring instead to encourage and inspire each other through sharing our work, skills and experience.

We  are all on a photographic journey, eager to make progress and enjoy  photographing the world about us; our cameras and our computers are just  tools to help us on our way.

We hold meetings at Long Buckby Rugby Club every fornight and also online sessions to help you see and make better photographs.

In  the APG, it doesn’t matter whether you are a complete beginner  or more  experienced, we just want you to get involved in what we do.

For   beginners, this is your chance to learn how to improve your  photography and so we want you to ask lots of questions, because it’s  the only  way to learn.

If  you are more experienced, we would love to see your work and we would  ask you to share your  learning and help those who have only just  started out on their  photographic journey.

Together  we can help each other to learn how to  use our cameras, learn about  post processing and most importantly, learn  how to see photographically  and make better pictures.
