Neil Phillips started photographing in the early eighties photographing bands in Birmingham. After a career in IT he has travelled widely photographing the people and places he has visited. Recently he has started creating a diverse body of work, spanning abstraction, infra-red landscapes and architecture. He attempts to photograph what he feels, rather than what he sees, in an attempt to express his thoughts about life, belief and mysticism.
